Agencies, Private Sector Representatives,
LGUs to refine Investment Program
Around 40 regional line agencies (RLAs) are expected to attend the validation/refinement of the Zamboanga Peninsula Medium-Term Regional Development Investment Program (MTRDIP), 2011-2016 on February 6, 7 and 8, 2012 at Grand Astoria Hotel, Zamboanga City. NEDA IX, headed by Director Arturo G. Valero, initiates the activity to validate the different investment programs of the agencies that were consolidated in the RDIP, 2011-2016.
The agencies will present their updated list of investment programs to the Regional Development Council private sector representatives and the local government units for feedback. The region's state colleges and universities will also present their investment programs during the workshop. This is to ensure that the revised programs, projects and activities and their corresponding costs are indeed responsive to the present and future needs of the region.
The RDIP is a consolidated document which contains the different programs and projects, referred to as investment programs, of the regional line agencies to achieve the goals and objectives identified in the Zamboanga Peninsula Regional Development Plan.
